Methods and limitations
We checked 45 candidate figures and kept 40 from ten organisations. The retained records cover Þingvellir, its lake, Silfra and the Golden Circle stops used in our route guides. We left out unscoped visitor totals, incompatible counts and figures we could not reconcile. This is a visitor reference, not an annual tourism census.
The source pages are living, mostly undated records. October 2026 in the source tags means checked on 16 October 2026, not a claimed publication date. Historical years describe the event; physical measurements retain the source’s approximate wording. No 2025 comparison is available for the fee snapshot, so we do not report a year-on-year change.
The two-adult table is our compilation from four published fee schedules. It uses one car with five or fewer seats at Þingvellir and two standard adult admissions at each of the other stops. Per-person fees are counted twice and the car fee once. The CSV includes the unit fee, quantity, resulting cost and exclusions so the figures can be reproduced. These are separate stop costs, not a recommended package or a complete trip budget. Fuel, meals, tours, accommodation, rentals and any separately charged parking are excluded unless expressly included in the record.
Fontana’s bakery pages show conflicting adult prices and tour times, so we exclude both. Kerið’s site describes an age that differs from the regional tourism page, so we exclude the crater’s age. Visit Iceland and the local Gullfoss site differ on the waterfall’s total height; the table uses the local site’s stated 32 metres, while Visit Iceland’s route page states 31 metres. That difference is not an exact survey resolved by this guide. The underlying links let readers inspect both accounts.
Recheck charges and participation terms before booking. Next full review: 16 January 2027, with earlier corrections when an official schedule changes. Send a correction with the measure and original source through our contact page; we will check the source before changing the record and its updated date.
Downloads and citation
Download all 40 figures as CSV. The spreadsheet includes each figure’s unit, scope, original source and the date we checked it. Empty source-publication-date fields mean the source did not state a publication date.
Download the two-adult stop costs as CSV. Use the Golden Circle route map to locate these places, or the park map to choose an arrival. The self-drive itinerary explains how to allow time beyond driving.
